You choose your scene at Zelena Laguna: the main beach with organized rows of loungers and parasols, the watersports bay where jet skis and banana boats carve wakes, or the quieter rocky stretches between designated zones where you can still spread a towel on natural stone. The resort backs onto dense pine forest that provides the 'green lagoon' namesake, and paved paths connect everything—beaches, hotels, restaurants, mini-golf, tennis courts. By noon, the organized beaches pulse with activity: children in swimming lessons, paddleboats cruising the shallows, beach volleyball matches on imported sand courts.

The water itself is classic northern Adriatic: clear enough to count pebbles on the bottom, warm by June, calm except when afternoon winds arrive. Swimming platforms extend into deeper zones, and roped-off areas keep swimmers separate from boat traffic. You smell sun lotion, grilled meat from beach grills, and occasionally diesel from passing tour boats heading toward Rovinj. The beach bars serve everything from espresso to full meals, and you can rent almost anything that floats or provides shade.
Evening doesn't quiet Zelena Laguna so much as shift its register. Families retreat to hotel buffets while younger crowds claim the beach-bar terraces. Live music starts around nine, and the waterfront promenade becomes a slow circuit of strollers, ice cream in hand, deciding which of the dozen restaurants deserves their reservation. This is industrial-scale beach culture, efficient and unapologetic about its resort identity.
