The Oxford-Bellevue Ferry, one of America's oldest continuously operating ferries (since 1683), departs from a terminal about half a mile from Oxford Town Beach. You can easily walk or drive between the beach and ferry dock. The ferry carries cars and passengers across the Tred Avon River to Bellevue, operating seasonally from March through November. It's a scenic 10-minute crossing and popular local attraction.
