Downtown Bandon is less than two miles north, offering restaurants ranging from casual seafood shacks to upscale dining, plus grocery stores for picnic supplies. Bandon has numerous lodging options including oceanfront hotels, vacation rentals, and bed-and-breakfasts along Beach Loop Road. Several accommodations are within a mile of China Creek Beach. There are no facilities directly at the beach, so bring your own food, water, and supplies. Plan to drive or walk into town for all amenities and services.

China Creek Beach stands out for its relative seclusion compared to Bandon's more popular beaches like Face Rock. The beach features dramatic rock formations, sea stacks, and excellent tide pools teeming with starfish, anemones, and other marine life. Its hidden location means fewer crowds, offering a more intimate coastal experience. The beach provides stunning photography opportunities, particularly during golden hour. The surrounding headlands create sheltered coves perfect for quiet contemplation and wildlife watching, including frequent seabird sightings.
